A Levels
The 2009 A Level results achieved by the hard working pupils at King's College, Alicante have managed to improve on the outstanding results awarded to the class that left the school in 2008.
Almost all our leavers are going on to study at universities and colleges; including the Universities of Kent, Aston, Hull, and Queen Mary College, London in the UK. Students choosing to say in Spain are going to the universities of Tarragona, Murcia, the ESADE business school in Barcelona and two of our pupils have won places at the prestigious Complutense University in Madrid. One of our top students has been invited to attend the Sorbonne University in Paris. We also have a student going to study Audiovisual Communication with our neighbours at the Ciudad de la Luz Film School which is part of the most modern film studio complex in Europe.

National Curriculum Tests
Once again King's College Alicante exceeded the UK average marks at Key Stage 2 (age 10-11) which is particularly pleasing because the overwhelming majority of our children speak English as a foreign language.

The papers are sent to England for marking. The target level for children at the end of Year 6 is Level 4, and for those at the end of Year 9 is Level 5 or 6. Students normally take IGCSE at the end of Year 11, although some subjects may be taken at the end of Year 10.
