The  2011 A Level results achieved by the hard working pupils at King's College, Alicante have once again been superb with 99% of our students achieving a passing grade at A2 level and 66% of our students achieving an A or B grade at AS Level. Spanish University Entrance

UNED (the Spanish equivalent of Britain's Open University) have validated the A Level results of the 19 students who decided to apply for places at Spanish universities and have given our students a 100% pass rate.

IGCSEs

The school achieved excellent exam grades in IGCSEs, with our Year 11 gaining an 92% overall pass rate (A* - C); including 100% in Maths, English, French, Arts and Design, Biology, History, Music and Spanish.

National Curriculum Test

Once again King's College Alicante exceeded the UK average marks at Key Stage 2 (age 10-11) which is particularly pleasing because the overwhelming majority of our children speak English as a foreign language.

The papers are sent to England for marking. The target level for children at the end of Year 6 is Level 4, and for those at the end of Year 9 is Level 5 or 6. Students normally take IGCSE at the end of Year 11, although some subjects may be taken at the end of Year 10.
