Assessment Information
Students sit separate, non-tiered, exams in Biology, Chemistry and Physics leading to a double award Science GCSE. There may be the opportunity in exceptional cases for students to sit an extra paper in each subject leading to separate GCSEs in each of the individual Sciences
Other Information
Pupils should appreciate that a school science classroom is also a laboratory. The safety rules and guidelines MUST always be followed. This helps to avoid accidents and the possibility of serious injury. Independent revision is very important and must be thoroughly planned.
