Introduction and Aims History in year 8 will provide pupils with historical skills, allowing them to begin to understand and interpret the past .Pupils will understand why it is important to learn history and begin to identify the relevance of learning about the past.
Term 1 Making of the United Kingdom Term 2 The English Civil War Term 3 Black Peoples of the Americas
Assessment Information There will be constant assessment and feedback by the classroom teacher. After each topic there will be an assessment in the form of exam, essays or source work anaylsis and interpretation. Other Information Pupils will be responsible for school textbooks which will be provided for homework and revison purposes. |
